Treasure Coast specifics · How We Work Here

We Are Broward Based. Here Is What That Honestly Means.

We are based in Fort Lauderdale and the Treasure Coast is a real drive from us. We work it in scheduled blocks, and that has consequences worth stating before you call rather than after.

Tell us the address and whether the house is occupied year round. On this coast the second answer changes the recommendation more than the first.

Licensed

A licensed Florida general contractor

The contractor who sells the job and vanishes before the crew arrives

In this trade the person who quotes is very often unconnected to the person who installs. The sale gets made, the job is handed to whichever crew has a gap, and on the first morning the homeowner meets people who were not in any of the conversations that decided the job. Every decision that mattered — the pressure calculation, the approval number, the sill detail, what was found at survey — lives in a document the crew has not read.

How a job runs with us

  • A booked survey at the property, with somebody physically measuring every opening.
  • A written specification naming the approval against each individual opening.
  • The correct building department identified and the package prepared.
  • Long-lead and specialty units ordered first.
  • Installation by our own crews, worked in blocks rather than day trips.
  • Stucco returns, casing and making good stay with us rather than becoming your problem.
  • Approval documentation handed over for the mitigation inspection.

Why the finishing is in our scope

Most of this trade treats the window as the job and the stucco returns, the interior casing and the paint line as somebody else's problem. The owner is then left chasing a stucco contractor and a painter around a house that is technically finished and plainly is not — which on a seasonal property means doing it from another state.

That is a poor outcome anywhere and a worse one on a seasonal property, where the owner may not be present to chase anybody. We keep it in scope because the alternative is leaving you managing three trades from another state.

How we handle it

  1. 01Survey and specify first, so the number we give you is one we can hold to.
  2. 02Pull the permit with the right department for the address, as contractor of record.
  3. 03Put our own crews on it and finish the inside and the outside of every opening.
  4. 04Give a real start date rather than an encouraging one.

Working in blocks is the honest consequence of the distance. It means we are worth calling early and not worth calling in a hurry. For a seasonal owner planning work around a visit, that scheduling actually suits — we would rather agree a window in advance than promise to appear next week and disappoint you.

Said plainly

Where we stop

We do not fit shutters, we do not do emergency board-up on this coast, and we cannot start next week. If any of those is what you need, saying so now saves us both a visit and you a fortnight.

FAQ

Common questions

Are you actually local to the Treasure Coast?
No, and we would rather say so than claim an office we do not have. We are Fort Lauderdale based and work this coast in scheduled blocks. A Stuart or Vero Beach contractor may start sooner, and if speed is what matters most that is a fair reason to use one.
Does the distance affect the price?
It affects how we schedule more than what we charge. Working in blocks is how we keep travel from being priced into every job individually, and it is why we would rather book you into a planned run than treat you as a one-off trip.
Can you work while I am out of state?
Yes, and we do it regularly here. It requires access arrangements agreed in advance and a named contact who can let us in and make decisions. We will set that up at survey rather than discovering the gap on day one.
Do you handle the permit?
Yes. The permit package, the product approval documentation and inspection coordination are ours, with the correct department for your address. What we leave with you is the paperwork a wind mitigation inspection will ask for.

Next step

Find out what is actually wrong with it.

An inspection, photographs of what we found, and a written scope. If the honest answer is that it can wait another season, that is the answer you will get.
